Getting ready for the school Christmas pageant

Guest post written by Karen Dursten

It may seem like we have so much time before we actually have to put on the school Christmas pageant, but it really isn't that far away. I've been helping out with it for years, mainly when it comes to costumes. I'm doing that again this year, so I've been stationed behind my sewing machine for quite a while by now.

Even though I'm an old hand at this, I thought I would look online to see if I could find some neat new ideas for the costumes. While I was looking online, I ran across the site http://hearingaids.miracle-ear.com/hearing-locations/washington/s/spokane/ and I decided to use it to go and get a hearing test and get fitted for hearing aids.

I've found a few great designs for the Christmas pageant that are already turning out to look really great. I used this new kind of glitter that I read about online and found at the craft store. It was a great addition to the Santa and Mrs. Claus outfits. It might be a little tougher to clean up, but I think it will be worth it for the effect.
