My mom and I decided to go into business together just a few years ago, and we knew exactly what wanted to do. We both love art, so we wanted to own a framing store so we can help make beautiful art even more beautiful everyday of the week. Everything sort of fell into place; we found an amazing building to house our store, a couple of local art students agreed to be interns for a semester, and we spent some time creating a website for the store. What a hoot that was… Choosing domainnames.com, working with the developer, and creating a Flash photo album was always more technical than I ever imagined we would have to get into at a classic framing store! Anyway, we are really loving working for ourselves and getting to hang out with each other all day long. Neither of us can figure out why we didn't do this 10 years ago!
